This was written for the amnesty challenge on psychflashfic . I used the challenge: dark and stormy night. Challenges ask for under a 1000 words so this is about 1000 words.  While not my first Psychfic, it will be the first one I'm posting on my journal directly.

That's right.  10/10.  I'm done!  I finally finished my story.  It only took me FOREVER!  LOL.  To be honest, I'm sorta really proud of myself for seeing this through.  *faints*

So last night a ton of people came over to out house for our monthly game night.  We decided to play a game called Domain, only the one person reading the directions forgot a key piece...money.  The game was horribly unbalanced if not a hilarious farce.  Imagine, if you will, Monopoly without paying to buy a property.  Socialized Monopoly, perhaps?  Just think about that for a moment...

You can imagine that this revelation was quickly followed by tons of outright cheating and craziness.  At one point I grabbed the pile of cards we were supposed to draw blindly from and just grabbed whatever I felt like.

I decided I needed to write crack!fic involving Monopoly.  Alas, my muse did not cooperate. Instead it gave me light hurt comfort.  Hmmmph.  At least the h/c was mild.

We went to the store the other day and bought some lime flavored pickles. It was the first time I had heard of such a combination and I had a deep desire to try them. The jar was completely finished after two sittings! I need more! Who knew lime and pickles would go together so well?

So, Iamrighthere tried to help me write a story a while back, but in the end I put it on the back burner. It decided to resurface last night in a very different form than originally imagined, but with the theme I wanted. Today was a good day. I woke up and I wrote. Now I will have to make up for it tonight and study twice as hard. The good news is that I don't have any Analysis homework due this week! Yay!!! :)

It sounds like it might be a day or two before I hear back on Rodney's Mermaid Adventure. It's all Kodiak's fault that I wrote it because she said it was okay to write about mermaids. So um, you'll have to blame her for the entire insanity of it all!
